Richmond Hill Lumber was founded by Jerry Deutchman and his mother in 1927 as a small building supply company. In 1983, this mud yard without a forklift and lumber cut by hand was sold to Anthony DeVito Sr., who intended with his sons Tony DeVito and Frank DeVito to turn it into a full-service, fully operating retail lumberyard. In 1988, the DeVito brothers opened a second location at 121-06 101st Ave., just eight blocks away from the primary store, and brought on their brother Ben DeVito to serve as manager. This family-owned and operated business offers personalized service from expert salesman who are committed to providing you with high quality product lines and professional consultations.
